Beaver’s Den At Beaver Creek Bar & Grill
If you're ever cruising down John G Richards Rd in Camden, South Carolina, and your stomach starts growling for a laid-back bite, Beaver’s Den At Beaver Creek Bar & Grill is the kind of local gem you don’t want to miss. Tucked away at 3485 John G Richards Rd, this spot has a vibe that says, "kick back, relax, and stay awhile"—especially if you're into outdoor seating and like bringing your pup along. Yep, dogs are totally welcome here, which already sets the tone for a chill, pet-friendly hangout.
As soon as you step in (or out, if you’re grabbing a patio table), there's this easygoing energy that makes you feel like you’re among friends. It's the kind of place where people swap stories over cold drinks and classic comfort food. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, the Beaver’s Den feels like one of those rare spots where the food is satisfying, the drinks are cold, and everyone’s on a first-name basis before the second round hits the table.
What really sets Beaver’s Den apart is how it blends that rustic Southern charm with a down-to-earth bar and grill experience. It’s got the kind of menu that makes decisions hard—in a good way. Think juicy burgers, wings with just the right kick, and hearty plates that keep regulars coming back. And while you’re there, don’t be surprised if someone’s playing acoustic on the patio or if there’s a small group gathered for a casual game night.
The vibe? Think picnic tables, a breeze through the pines, and maybe a tail-wagging buddy at your feet. It’s not just a restaurant—it’s a slice of community, tucked into the heart of Camden. And honestly, that’s what makes Beaver’s Den At Beaver Creek Bar & Grill more than just a place to eat. It’s where you go when you want food with flavor and a setting that feels just right.

Fast and friendly service. The place looks like it would be a lot of fun for adults at night with a waterfront live music stage and beer garden. When in SC the pimento burgers are the go to for me. This one did not disappoint and best part it wasn't greasy. FYI- burgers do not come with a side. They sell buckets of beer. Have a full service bar.
One of our favorite places to eat at while on Wateree. Food is good, service is great and it has a nice atmosphere. We can come as we are, straight off the boat- or dressed nicely for dinner.
Seems like just a hole in the wall place, but it's much more than that. Service and kindness was above and beyond. Views of the lake were great. And the food was very good from appetizer through the meal. Probably the best place to eat around Lake Wateree.
I'll keep this short and sweet. This place is a nice little spot, not far from the lake. The waitress was really nice and the food was pretty good. I came with about 8 people and tried a couple different appetizers. They were good. For my entree I ordered the Beaver Creek shrimp wrap with fries. It was pretty tasty. The night I was there they had a country singer from Nashville singing. That made the experience even better. I would def come here again when I'm in the area!
I'm a self admitted food snob, this was pretty good bar food. Pizza wasn't bad either. Great service, great view, I gotta give it a thumbs up for sure.
